431.1Burning Out is an action a player must perform if they attempt to move one or more cards from their Main Deck to any other zone in excess of the number of cards remaining in their Main Deck:431.2To Burn Out, a player does the following in sequence:431.3A player's Main Deck may remain empty as they Burn Out, usually because their trash is also empty. When they attempt to perform the original action again, it will cause another Burn Out.431.4Burning Out is a Limited Action.431.5Burning Out is a Replacement Effect. See rule 367.
